COMMUNITY HEALTH LIVING (COHEAL)

Community Health Living (COHEAL) is a registerd local NGO operating in Uganda registered with Uganda Registration service Bureau with registration number 80034231439756. We are dedicated to improving the lives of vulnerable communities (Young girls, Youth and women) through collaborative efforts with the aim of creating healthier and more resilient communities that thrive by effectively empowering individuals to take an active role in their well-being.

Mission Statement

To be a leading Local non-government organization in providing preventive, promotive, resilient and sound community and environmental-based initiatives, while improving livelihood initiatives for youth, children, women and adolescents in vulnerable communities in Uganda.

Enhance Resilience and Community Support

Strengthen community  networks and resources to foster resilience against social, economic and environmental challenges.

Promote Environmental and Climate Change Action:

Advocate and support communities for Healthy sustainable environmental practices and policies that address environmental concerns and climate change impacts.

Improve Livelihood and Economic Empowerment for Young Girls, Youth and Women;
Implement targeted programs and initiatives that enhance the economic opportunities and livelihoods of young girls, youth, and women

Enhance Sexual and Reproductive Health and Improve Maternal, Child and Adolescent Health;
Promote and advocate for access to quality sexual and reproductive health services, fostering research for innovative solutions and ensuring comprehensive support for the health and well-being of vulnerable populations.
